Does winning get your blood racing?
No matter what your sport, there’s nothing like claiming a national championship. We’ve won nine national titles in both men’s and women’s sports, including track and field, football, golf and volleyball. Competing in 14 different NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports, the TLU Bulldogs’ black and gold always makes a splash in the American Southwest Conference.
There’s the game. And then there’s life.
We emphasize balance for our student athletes, because life goes on long after the last whistle fades. About a third of our campus community are student athletes, and when they play, they play to win—on the field, on the court and in the classroom.
For the individual.
At TLU, you don’t have to be a student athlete to be athletic. Check out the campus fitness center and its racquetball, basketball and volleyball courts, cardio machines and the outdoor heated swimming pool.
"Our student-athletes expect to win. But you can come here and be part of a successful program without athletics running your life. Our athletes go to college to prepare for their future, but also, with the focus from their coaches in athletics, to prepare for life."
- Bill Miller, Director of Athletics
