Texas Lutheran University believes an excellent education should also be affordable. We provide more than $20 million annually in financial aid. And that doesn’t include merit and performance scholarships.

In 2008–2009, TLU awarded financial aid to more than 95 percent of our students with an average aid package of $19,049 (scholarships, grants and student loans).

TLU grants include:

• Federal Pell Grant
• Legacy Award ($1000/year)
• Congregational Aid Program ($300 to $1000/year)
• Lutheran Clergy Grant ($1000 per year)
• Scholastic Advancement Award ($1000/year)
